This is the fourth edition of the Turkey challenge already – how time flies. Don’t forget the prize in conjunction with our challenges. Our first two winners of Gregg WB8LZG’s bug/paddle handle pieces were absolutely delighted with them. You have a chance to be similarly delighted by mastering this month’s challenge.

Issue #056 of our newsletter in its new format is now posted on the NAQCC web site.

In that newsletter you’ll find info about our NAQCC sprint which takes place this Tuesday evening, October 9 – or in UTC that’s Wednesday, October 10 0030-0230Z. This is a very special sprint for our club’s third anniversary month. We’ll have all 10 US call areas active with our special event call N3A/#. An excellent chance for anyone in the USA to earn a N3A certificate and QSL card. We’ll be giving away a QRP transceiver kit. We’ll be continuing our CW Books on CD’s giveaway. There’s much more than I’m going to take time to list here since it is in the on-line newsletter. Check it out and don’t have any excuses for missing this special sprint. Oh and don’t forget to submit your results via the new autologger which now has all its bugs sprayed and eliminated.

It’s too late to sign up and operate the call now if you haven’t done so, but you can still make a QSO with the station to satisfy the challenge.
